Experience the magic of The Dance Discovery program! Starting as young as 6 months of age, dancers will explore the movement, musicality, artistry and self-expression that dancing encompasses. Creativity and imagination-driven, at this young age, the focus is more about discovering the delight of dancing and encouraging self-expression than it is about technical ability or execution. With a diverse curriculum that introduces dance concepts from ballet, tap, jazz and others your child will learn in the right environment for them, with nurturing and knowledgeable instructors who provide a challenging and engaging classroom experience. Rather than focusing on seeking perfection, we want your child to feel confident, and accepted in all that they do, and most of all feel safe to take chances and put their full hearts into their artistry.

The Shining Stars is the transitioning point between the Dance Discovery and Dance Dedication Programs. This program is geared towards dancers 5-6 years of age who love to dance and want to take their training up a notch with a little more commitment and opportunity than the Rising Stars classes. Classes meet twice a week for 60 minutes. Shining Stars focuses on ballet, tap, and jazz techniques while exploring a number of styles that enhance their overall dance repertoire. Enhancement styles include contemporary, hip hop, acro, and musical theatre. Dancers can expect to stay in Shining Stars through age 6 while they explore this variety of dance styles.
When your dancer becomes a part of the Shining Stars level at Pure Energy there are multiple opportunities for them to form connections with dancers who have similar interests. The dancers that they meet in their class will most likely be with them moving up through the levels in Dance Dedication if they choose to continue their dancing career. These dancers also create a special bond with their teachers since they now see them twice a week instead of once. Shining Stars is all about helping your dancer grow in compassion, confidence, and perseverance. Another added bonus is the added performance opportunities. These events are a great way for our younger dancers to connect with our older dancers. The Shining Stars level is a seamless way for younger dancers to transition into the Dance Dedication community.
As part of their enhanced training, more focus is put on learning the skills of performing. Each year, dancers will perform 1 winter showcase dance and 2 end of the year recital dances in a total of 3 performances, that will showcase their dance technique and growth.
Shining Stars can enroll in any or all optional enhancement classes at no additional charge. Space is limited.

Rising Stars is the final class in the Dance Discovery Program. It’s geared towards dancers 5-6 years of age who love to dance and move to music. Classes meet once a week for 60 minutes and focus on ballet and tap while still exploring dance, movement music, and rhythm creatively and playfully. Dancers can stay in Rising Stars through the age of 6 or can transition to Shining Stars if they are ready for more structure and commitment.
Dancers registered for Rising Stars can participate in all optional enhancement classes at no additional charge. Space is limited.

Geared towards 3-4 years old and creativity and imagination-driven, the Starlettes class introduces young movers to the beginning elements of ballet, rhythm, and fundamental dance concepts and artistry. With a focus on discovering the delight of dancing and encouraging self-expression, loving teachers will guide the class through dance and movement games and activities that encompass all the elements of an early dance education. See your dancer flourish as they explore and discover through movement, dance and music. Classes meet once a week for 45 minutes.
Starlettes ages 4+ can participate in the Hop N’ Drop Class at no additional charge.

Creativity and imagination-driven, Me and My Star introduces is all about discovering the delight of dancing and encouraging self-expression. Guided by nurturing instructors, caregiver and dancer participate in class together as little movers are introduced to rhythm, music, movement and all that is the magical world of dance. See your dancer flourish as they explore and discover through movement, dance, and music. Classes meet once a week for 30 minutes. This class is meant to be an engaging introduction to exploring dance, and is not part of our technical program that starts at age 2. Dancers 2 years and older ready to join the technical program can register for the Twinkle Stars and Starlettes classes.
